Wigan Sports Development Unit is seeking a motivated Sports Development Officer to join its highly successful team of Coaches, Officers and Managers.

The role will make an important contribution to supporting the Trust’s vision ‘Getting Wigan Active’ and thereby increasing sport and physical activity across the Borough. In addition, you will be involved in Sports Development events, managing identified sports projects, working with external agencies and leading sport specific development groups as identified in annual work programmes. The post will work in partnership with National Governing Bodies of Sport, Children & Young People’s Services and the Greater Manchester Sports Partnership.
