| The ‘Back to Sport’ programme is part of the PCT funded Your Choice initiative aimed at encouraging adults aged 16-60 years to get active in Wigan through sport, dance and fitness. The sport strand of Your Choice provides numerous opportunities for adults of all abilities to take part in a range of sporting and physical activities in both recreational and competitive environments. | Leigh Sports Village is to host the 2010 Greater Manchester Disability Games on Wednesday 7th July. This is the 2nd successive year the event will be held in the borough and it is hoped the event will build on success of the 2009 Games. The grass roots competition is open to young people with a disability aged 11 – 16 and will see youngsters from across the county compete in six sports; Athletics, Boccia, Boys Football, Girls Tag Rugby, Table Tennis and Sitting Volleyball.
