Wigan Sports Development are currently recruiting new volunteers to support our Multi Sports Camps taking place during the Summer Holidays. Wigan Sports Development offer the opportunity for individuals aged 16+ to develop new skills and gain high quality experiences in sport through volunteering.
The Get Active, Get Volunteering Scheme provides a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers to get involved in the local community, assisting professional coaches in the delivery and development of sporting activities, whilst also supporting the volunteer to gain nationally recognised qualifications and develop personal skills in leadership, communication and teamwork.

Get Active in Your Community Programme
Wigan Sports Development provide diversionary activities throughout the borough for young people aged 8 – 14 years old to participate in regular sporting sessions in their local community.
Would you like to assist our community sports coaches to deliver a variety of sports including:
Football Dance Swimming
Handball Cheerleading Cricket Basketball
Disability Sport
Wigan has several clubs and activities for people with disabilities to join. If you are interested in working with people with disabilities in a variety of sports this could be a good opportunity for you!
