The Game On Midnight Football Leagues are back! If you are aged between 12 and 16 grab your mates and form a 5-a-side football team to compete against young people from across the borough.
Wigan Sports Development will run the two leagues at Robin Park Arena and Leigh Sports Village. The leagues will be run by qualified coaches from Wigan Sports Development, supported by Lancashire FA referees.
The five-a-side games will be played each week with sides progressing to a Wigan Borough Final on March 26th. Shin pads must be worn in all games and all matches will be played on artificial pitches, no metal studs or blades. Footballs and bibs will be provided on the night.
Teams will compete in under 14(school years 8 & 9) and under 16 age groups(school years 10 & 11).
Each team must send £5 payment along with registration forms for each team member to Sports Development by Friday 8th January 2010. Cheques made payable to ‘WLCT’ or call to pay over the phone.
