Do you have an Interest in Sport?

Do you have a few hours a week to spare?

Would you like to spend them doing something rewarding?

Then look no further. Wigan Sports Development provide a range of sports related programmes and initiatives for which volunteer support is required. Key programmes include:

Get Active in the Community - a programme delivering sports in a range of community settings to offer diversionary activities to young people.

Get Active Holiday Programme – a series of multi-sport camps that take place during the school holidays throughout the borough.

Back to Sport - A programme catering for the 16+ age group designed to engage people who have dropped out of sports participation.

Active Women – Similar to the Back to Sport programme but specifically targetting women aged 16-25.

If you would like to get involved in volunteering to gain essential experience, to put something back into your community or simply for something different to do then contact Rob Burrows on 01942 488495 or e-mail R.Burrows@wlct.org
